On week 18, my team and I discussed on the colors for each shot, as we go, I worked on three test.
As we discuss among ourselves, the water on the third picture (where the woman drops her lantern) may seem suitable for the situation in the scene but it would be too complicated to animate. And so I worked it out and had more discussion between me and my group member Shekinah Oku regarding the ripples and color usage.
Afterwards, I continued to work on clean-ups with the rest of my in-betweens.
On week 16, I worked on improving the animation on this shot. As given ideas and suggestion by the teachers, I worked on distortion animation and reworked on the splash animation, giving a wide scale of impact on the water.
After, I continued to work on the rest of my in-betweens, applying more of the critique and feedbacks gave by teachers and team members
During week 14, which is in the Christmas holiday, I worked on more in-betweens, sending them to the teachers and receiving feedbacks from both the teachers and fellow team members.
On week 13, I worked on more designs for the dragon, with the feedbacks and critique given by the teachers and team members.
These three designs are the recent ones which later we discussed on, they lack the slight sense of cunning and creepy humanoid kabuki style.
Finally, a design was chosen.
The finalized design has the most cunning, creepy, humanoid look than the rest of the designs.
After I went straight to working on refining the dragon's body as well as color testing it as previously it was quite intricate and complicated, almost overall spiky instead of liquid form.

As soon as everything was agreed and approved by the teachers and team, I immediately went straight to in-between.
On Week 12, I worked on redesigning the dragon's mask, previously the mask was designed by Sudhir but it was quite a complicated design as it was difficult to keep it in terms of consistency when I did the test animation.
These are the four masked designs for the week
After I went straight back to working on my extremes and breakdowns, applying the critiques given for the week.

Shot 240 (Version 2)
These two shots are a collaborated shot between me and my team member, Victor.
I worked on the woman character
and Victor works on the man character.
Originally the dragon character on these particular shots was meant to be worked by another team member Sudhir but I involving myself in working on it as I go.

This shot was supposedly a collaborated shot between me and another team member, Sudhir, but due to lack of progress, I decided to work on it myself.
Shot 300
Some of these shots that include the dragon were originally meant for my team member Sudhir to work on, but as there is lack of progress for the dragon's scene, I involve myself in working on it in his place.

Lastly, for this week I've compiled the rest of my extremes and breakdowns including the above shots into a video. From the previous days before reviewing with the teachers and after receiving feedback from fellow team members.
On week 11, I worked on testing the animation for the bracelet falling into the water on the last scene.
Although I manage to reference the falling movement with a sharply crafted gem that had a flat surface on one side, there wasn't any chance to find a good reference for a Jade falling in the water as they may have a different type of mass weight on it, so I've estimated that a flat side gem would do as they fall

After, I worked on improving another animation test on the water swirl and transition with the feedback given by the teachers.
Version 4
Version 5
After reviewing with my team and the teachers, Version 4 was chosen as a finalized colored shot.
Lastly, for the week, I went straight to working out my extremes and breakdown shots, applying the critique given that week.

On this week, more discussion was made with my team and teachers. As we go, a few more shots have been chosen for more changes.

Shot 1 (Version 2)
Dynamic angle as the woman drops her lantern prior to her approaching death. Trying out the timing for the woman when she drops her lantern to match with the next scene.
Shot 002
A close-up shot of the man shouting in fear for the woman's safety.
Shot 003 (Version 1)
Shot 003 (Version 2)
Worked on two different versions of the lantern falling down to the water.
Later on, I worked on two test of Shot 003 where the lantern falls.

Version 2
After, I went into testing out the colors on the water, the animation and transition for the second last scene of this film.

Afterwards, I went straight to working on another rough animatic of the overall agreed ideas.
Rough animatic (test 1)
Rough animatic (test 2)
Rough animatic (test 2) was then confirmed and agreed by my team, and as soon as possible, I went straight to working on finalizing the storyboard and working on shots that I am in charge for extremes and breakdowns.
Finalized storyboard.
These three videos are my extremes and breakdowns on my part. several versions are made as I go when discussing with my team and the teachers.

As I go, I worked around identifying what needs more improvements and more work for the next week.
